Once service is completed and your defendant is served, it is time for us to provide you with an Affidavit of Service. The responsibility of serving the defendant rest with the Plaintiff and or his/her Attorney to show and provide proof to the court that the Defendant has been given notice. This is called due process, which is afforded to every US Citizen to be able to face his/her accuser and be able to ask questions.
